Situation:

Two marketing officers are talking about the plan of a new product promotion.

A What were the Market Research findings?

B Well, it looks as if there’s a fair market for the product at the moment. They think, though, that it’ll take a few years for it to really catch on.

A That’s understandable. We’ll have to run a good advertising campaign.

B I think we’re on to something big.

A That’s for sure. We must do the most complete testing possible before we begin to market it.

B That’s for sure.

A Can you think of any other kinds of product which are promoted through films or TV?

B Yes, it’s popular to promote products through New Year Movies at the end of the year. We may consider it.

A Sure, some directors are happy with product placement in their movie.

B We may have a meeting to discuss it this afternoon.
